Christopher Arruda traveled all the way from the island, where he is currently recording his fourth album “God Hates a Coward” .

He met us in Yaletown at the stone park on the corner of Nelson st and Mainland st. This park always fascinates us because of it’s unpracticality and urban beauty. We prayed the big trucks and buses wouldn’t drive by and be too noisy but in the end Chris sang his heart out and trafic noise wasn’t a problem.

We shot the session infront of artist Igor Mitoraj’s sculpture Eros Bendato Scrippolato. A beautiful mix of ancient and modern styles. Depicting Eros the god of love blindfolded, suggesting love is blind.
