In the last few months, they have been the recipient of prestigious awards within their field and their designs have been showcased in several exhibitions in Sweden.

One of their most intriguing exhibits yet was entitled “Dissecting the Dandy” (ended May 2011). The event took place at the Nordiska Museet, a spot known for hosting a slew of presentations ranging from fashion, history and arts.

The trio described the exhibit as wanting “to expose the details that makes the Dandy”. But what exactly is a “Dandy”? Well, it’s a man who places particular importance upon physical appearance, refined language, and leisurely hobbies, pursued with the appearance of nonchalance in a cult of none other but … self!

Their dissection of the “Dandy” was quite successful to say the least. The showcase consisted of dismembered mannequins dressed in impeccable attire! Tailored blazers, starched button down shirts and genuine leather accessories to name a few.

The exhibition’s goal was to give examples of how a contemporary a “Dandy” could look and perhaps a glimpse into modern day dandyism.
