We’re pleased to feature two short films by the hitRECord open collaborative production company. This fascinating project is led by Hollywood actor turned super-director Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

hitRECord invites anyone and everyone to post original content, and to remix content posted by others. When contributors share an interest in a concept it gets remixed and expanded upon until a Frankenstein’s monster of a creative project emerges. In a case where the content can be spun into something marketable, the company will aim to make money and share the profits with everybody involved 50/50.

The wonderfully peculiar short films below are resultant of the unique mutative content creation process of the hitRECord website. Scottish artist/writer Metaphorest started the ball rolling when she posted the short stories upon which these films are based. However, in the end these fine productions necessitated the contributions of hundreds of creatives from around the world.

ENJOY THE SHOW!
